Faculty of Law

06/03/2019

Congratulations to  Dr Lynn Biggs

Congratulations to Dr Lynn Biggs, who has been appointed as Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law for a period of three years, with immediate effect. Dr Biggs was instrumental in assisting the Faculty to navigate the national LLB Review process in 2016 /2017 (which resulted in the Faculty of Law being one of the first three law faculties in the country to receive full accreditation) and has led various successful teaching and learning initiatives as chairperson of the Faculty Teaching and Learning Committee, including pioneering work as part of the RADAR Project. Dr Biggs is recognised nationally for her work in these areas, which go to the heart of the academic project.

Dr Biggs has served the Faculty Management Committee with distinction, and has provided invaluable assistance and support to the Dean's office for a number of years already. It is expected that Dr Biggs will continue to focus on teaching and learning-related matters in her new role as Deputy Dean, and that her appointment will contribute significantly to the work of the Faculty of Law."
